Keeping Place Online

Online partnership

The Keeping Place Project  is negotiating to establish an online partnership with Google Australia, to bring the collection’s paintings, photographs and objects to the world via the Google Cultural Institute.

The Google Cultural Institute provides an online presence for important cultural materials across the world, ensuring that these materials are digitally preserved to educate and inspire future generations.

Virtual tour

A selection of the Keeping Place’s collection is available on the Google Cultural Institute, including a virtual tour of the first galleries created online. The tour uses Google’s technologies to create an immersive snapshot of the Keeping Place virtual galleries and special exhibitions, allowing users to experience a virtual walk-through of the Keeping Place and to explore selected objects in detail.

Supporters

The Keeping Place Project team gratefully acknowledges the support provided by many private, corporate, government agencies and not-for-profit organisations to the Keeping Place project over more than 2 decades.
